"In using your software, I have come to discover in the last year that your linear regression bands disappear when the trend is unclear! Initially that may sound rather horrid to some, but I am thrilled with this discovery! In the fall all bands were up in daily charts of the Dow, S&P, Nasdaq, Oex and QQQ. At the end of January the bands started to slowly disappear on those charts, and by 2/5/04 all bands were missing on those five charts! On 3/11/04 the bands started to reappear, all pointing downwards! How much more marvelous could this get?
Even though one can set the number of days for linear regression bands in ESignal to 30, 60 or 90, it was often my experience that, rather than disappearing, the bands would just flip on a dramatic change in the market. There was no forewarning whatsoever from the bands.
Now, when your linear regression bands disappear I realize their absence may be a potent message.

I just had to take this opportunity to personally thank you again for all your help to me during this extensive process, in my efforts to create a custom indicator and alert system for my TradeStation 6.
To start from the beginning, I had an idea that I felt would make my trading more profitable. Unfortunately, I have no programming experience with Easy Language. You took my idea in words and put it into a coherent program resulting in beautifully working indicators on my charts.
When I first called you, I was struck with your contagious enthusiasm for this endeavor. I certainly didn't expect the lengthy time, patience, creative input, and repeated spontaneous calls from you to help me tweak the system. I'm also very thankful to get your wealth of knowledge creating custom indicators. You seemed almost too good to be true. Unfortunately, we needed to make several revisions on the original model until it was perfect. I thought that would be a real stumbling block in our working relationship. But your enthusiasm was as high on the final draft as on the original one. Finally, your fee for all your time and effort was very fair and quite reasonable.
I am ecstatic with the results and I now trade more profitably. I recommend you almost daily to all my trading friends. If I ever come up with another trading concept, you are the only name I would ever consider calling.
